We all have our go to beverage for after an intense workout. Ahhh- cold and refreshing. But if you take a peak at the ingredients chances are that you favorite beverage is full of chemicals, fake sugar and other not so natural things. But you feel the beneficial effects and want something after your workout. So now what ? Try this tasty and simple healthy sports drink with just 5 ingredients!

Healthy Sports Drink

What You Need:

  • Water
  • Coconut Water (1 cup)
  • Sea salt (just a teeny tiny pinch)
  • Fresh Lemon Juice (about 2-3 teaspoons)
  • Liquid Chlorophyll (1 serving)

 

How-To

  • In an empty (and reusable!) water bottle add the coconut water, salt and liquid chlorophyll.
  • Fill almost to the top with water
  • Add lemon juice
  • Ta-daaaa ! That’s it!

 

The coconut water is full of electrolytes and potassium. The sea salt helps your body actually absorb the water. Lemon juice helps to alkalinize while the liquid cholorophyll aids in getting oxygen to your red blood cells. All ingredients can be purchased at your local Whole Foods or online.
