3 Easy Tools To Help You On The Road To Financial Success

If you’re anything like me- you’ve done zero financial planning.

And if you aren’t like me then congratulations! Any awesome tips you may have, please send them my way.

As time has marched on, and as my “savings” have well, not really done anything I arrived at the point where I was about a week ago when I realized it was well past time to do something about it. I did what anyone would do and I hopped on the internet. A few minutes of searching brought me to 3 really valuable tools that made me wonder why someone hadn’t told me about them sooner.

Which is why I’m telling you about them today. Here are 3 easy tools to help you on the road to financial success!

Wealthfront

Wealthfront is for investing and financial planning. This platform has 2 great features that I found useful.
  1. Future projections. You can create an account and get recommendations on things like what kind of a house you can afford and by when, when you can retire and when you will be able to afford other things. The house option is awesome because you can select your desired location and the number of bedrooms and such and the platform pulls from local market prices. How much more wisely would you spend if you knew how close, or how far, you are from your dream home? To access this, create your account via the link here and use the “build a financial plan” option.
  2. The other thing it can do is it can help you to start building a portfolio for a crazy low rate at, get this, a minimum of $500 to invest. I checked around and for what they are claiming and offering this is a great starting point for first time investors.
See how long it will take you to save for retirement and start your portfolio today by going here.

Digit

This. Is. So. Cool.
Digit accesses your spending every day and from there puts money aside in a savings account. Sometimes it takes money, some days it doesn’t but the idea is that it monitors your spending and puts money that you won’t miss into an account for something that you want to save for.
It has a promise to never overdraft your account.
They even text you your starting balance every morning. They even use GIFs. What more could you want?
The first 30 days are free and then after that the cost is $3/month.
In super simple terms- it saves you money without you noticing for the price of a bougie coffee. How has no one ever told me about this?
Start saving now without even trying by heading over here.

Acorns

This is a micro-investing thing. It takes the change from transactions and rounds it up to the nearest dollar to invest that money into a savings account. You can also create additional amounts to be pulled from your account and saved every month and you can reinvest it to build a portfolio too. It costs $1/month
I read a review saying that might not be worth it if you are only “saving” $10 each month, then a fee of $1 each month means you’re spending 10% of your earnings. Which I get but yo- that is $9 that I would have just spent. And in 12 months THAT will be $108.
Start turning those cents into savings by signing up for an account here.
Full disclosure: If you use any of the links above then that gives me a credit (and you too in some cases). So I thank you kindly if you decide to sign-up and use them! 🙏
